How: The program is a boiled down version of their executive training program described here https://www.spitfirestrategies.com/executive-training-program/ but will be tailored to the needs of faculty and students. It will focus on honing in on effective communication skills using their proprietary Smart Chart 3.0 Communication Planning Tools https://www.spitfirestrategies.com/tools/#tab1. The strategies can be applied effectively in contexts from professional presentations to negotiating for a job or fund-raising for your program.
Summary from Spitfire: This session will provide an overview on how to use strategic communications to achieve your programmatic goals. We’ll share how to identify your target audiences, create messaging that taps the values and overcomes the barriers of those audiences, and how to design effective tactics that get that messaging in front of your audiences in a way that helps you move the needle on your issue.
